Sarah Na Young Kim

Sarah Na Young Kim is a seasoned cross-border attorney and risk manager who excels at navigating the toughest cross-border challenges. With experience both in-house and private practice, she deeply understands the needs of businesses and delivers practical solutions. She has tackled some of the most complex challenges in frontier markets with toughness and strategic insight. Sarah’s client calls her the “go-to attorney for businesses in Southeast Asia.”
With over a decade of experience spanning in-house legal practice, private practice, and global consulting firms, she brings a rare combination of legal acumen, commercial insight, and operational know-how to every engagement. She served as in-house counsel at an international automotive manufacturing company from 2011 to 2018, advising on cross-border investments, global supply chain operations, regulatory compliance, and internal governance. Subsequently, as counsel at a leading Vietnamese law firm, she advised international clients on M&A, corporate structuring, strategic investments, and international arbitration throughout Southeast Asia. From 2023 to 2025, Sarah served as a Principal Consultant at an international consulting firm, leading regulatory and environmental permitting projects in the energy and infrastructure sectors across Europe and the United States. Currently, she serves as Partner at BrightPath LLC and Regional Legal Advisor to the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency, providing strategic legal and business guidance to Korean enterprises expanding into overseas markets.
